This spring, the City of Annapolis finally began work on a Forest Drive/Eastport Sector Study. Expected to be completed in late 2018, the study will create a vision for the future of the corridor and identify development and zoning recommendations. These guidelines and recommendations will be based on input from citizens and business owners like you!
The first public meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 27 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center on Hilltop Lane. The meeting will be held open house style where residents are free to come at anytime, share their thoughts, and hear what issues have been identified so far. Please save the date and plan to attend. This is not just for city residents–all area residents with an interest in the future of this corridor are encouraged to participate. Click here to see preview materials for the meeting.
Also, if you haven’t already, please take a moment to complete this very short survey about your experiences with the Forest Drive/Eastport corridor. So far, residents overwhelmingly have said that transportation (traffic) and land use should be given the highest priority in the study. Click here to access the survey.
